In the coming weeks, AVPR is launching their new online portal for 15 clients to test and will be live in May! 80K was recovered from Spain for 3 films belonging to our client River Road (famous for 12 Years a Slave). Royalties were erroneously claimed by Fox.

New signings:
  • Protocol signed Bauer Martinez Studios as a client for the collection of up-to-date royalty statements and overage payments for 17 of their titles. Among others, Protocol will work on titles like “I Could Never Be Your Woman”, “The Flock”, “Harsh Times” and “Land of the Blind”.
  • The Protocol team welcomes Quickfire QF4 Limited among its clients. A deal has been concluded for overage collections and royalty report analysis for the film entitled “A Few Best Men”, whereby Fintage CAM and Licensing are also involved.
  • The Protocol-Yari/Persik contract came to final completion. Protocol has serviced 30 of their films for two years. During this period Protocol collected 800 royalty reports and over 300k USD royalties for Yari/Persik.

Marcel was invited to the premiere of IMPS' new movie: Smurfs - The Lost Village (see picture)!


The Budapest office had the great pleasure to welcome Willemijn for a couple of days. She shared some of her sales techniques, held a presentation about client relationship practices and ran a small group workshop to discuss details. We all found it very useful; thanks Willemijn!



Zsombor Erdész joined the CAM department as a Financial Account Manager on the 24th of April. Zsombor graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, majoring in Applied Economics, in 2016. He used to work for Telekom Hungary as a Data Management Officer. Zsombor reports to Sandra Spierenburg.


Eva Garai and Enikő Fenyvesi joined the Licensing Team as Assistants Sales and Acquisitions on the 2nd of May. Eva graduated from Szent István University, acquiring MSc in Biotechnology. She used to work for Tata Consultancy Services as a Drug Safety Specialist and later as a Drug Safety Reviewer. Enikő graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, majoring in English Studies. She used to work for DPD Hungaria as a Client Service Agent. Please join us in welcoming our newcomers on board and wishing them a lot of success in the Fintage family!

As announced earlier, Gabriella Lovas, Relationship Manager in the Licensing Team left Fintage House. Her last day was the 28th of April. Those, who have worked with Gabi, found her a very professional, hard-working young lady with exceptional sense of humor. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours.

NL Office

The new Holiday Charts have been created and delivered to the Leiden staff. All charts had to be reviewed and returned to Hanneke by May 4th.


A farewell event was organized for the music division on Wednesday, April 26. Staff could take part in the hungry hippos game, do some beer tasting or just enjoy the canapés and open bar.

The Licensing department received new chairs and desks. Their seating plan changed as well. To cope with the summer heat, ice will be arranged and delivered to the HU office on a weekly base till September. :)
