    Lars began his career with Fintage House in 1996 as a specialist in licensing and distribution of international films and TV productions in the Budapest office. He then moved to the Collection Account Management department in the Dutch office and since 2006 is responsible for running this unit of the business. Lars deals mainly with managing the worldwide revenue streams from international films and TV series. In addition to his extensive knowledge of the entertainment business, Lars is a sports fanatic, well known for his knowledge of many sports, including soccer, tennis and golf.

    Said is a graduate of the UCLA Film School and speaks several languages. He is a veteran of the international film industry with over 20 years experience working closely with producers and distributors across the globe such as Tony Scott’s True Romance. He was a previous client of Fintage House before joining the company in 2000 to manage the International Licensing and Distribution as well as the Audiovisual Rights collection department from the Budapest office. Said also manages one of Fintage’s divisions specialized in structuring Production, Finance and Distribution of feature films and is executive producer in such films as “Flashbacks of a Fool” and “Smart People”.

    Before earning several degrees in business administration, Ernst graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory Ernst Jacob Bakker has been with Fintage House since 2000 after having worked for a decade at the Dutch authors’ rights society Buma/Stemra in various capacities. Ernst has been instrumental in growing Fintage’s collection activities through the past ten years. He is currently responsible for Fintage’s Neighbouring Rights collections be it for artists or record labels as well as for Fintage’s activities in the digital space.

    Mandy has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelors Degree in Combined Arts. She joined Fintage in 2007 and has an extensive knowledge of the record and music publishing industries having also worked for many years at Roadrunner Records and Mercury (UK) International. In her career Mandy has looked after many top clients such as Jason Mraz, Nickelback and Elton John. Although British, Mandy has lived in The Netherlands for over thirteen years with her French husband and two children thus calling Holland her home. Gardening is one of the ways she particularly likes to spend her spare time.

    *Maria Forte runs her music consultancy from London. She has worked in music rights management since 1979, beginning in music publishing and then adapting to other areas of business that involve the licensing of music related rights, in particular more recently in the digital sphere. Working more closely in this area for the last few years has not only given Maria a better understanding of the current issues that face our business but also a practical and rounded knowledge base. It has also unfortunately given her a healthy (or unhealthy!) appetite for the acquisition of gadgets and apps. Her music consultancy, Maria Forte Music Services, has been representing Fintage House in the UK since January 2010.* 

  • Marcel Hoogenberk

    Before Marcel joined Fintage House early 2001, he worked for a large Dutch life insurance company where he was instrumental in integrating the insurance company’s databases with those of its larger clients. Marcel headed the Music & Audiovisual Rights section from the Budapest office for two years before spearheading the Audiovisual Producer Rights (secondary rights) Department in The Netherlands. He maintains close relationships with all major collecting societies (such as Agicoa, CARP, Vevam-Sekam, SGAE, etc) and attends the major film and TV markets in Europe and the U.S. Outside of work, Marcel is a sports enthusiast playing water-polo, tennis and golf!

  • Dimitry van Dalen

    Dimitry studied Japanese language and culture at the University in Leiden and in 1994 Dimitry was selected to spend a year in Japan to participate in a project jointly put together by the University of Leiden and Japanese company Huis ten Bosch. This comprised both an opportunity to experience the local culture and business world first hand. Dimitry worked as a freelance journalist for several Japanese sports magazines and got a taste for the entertainment industry. Following on from this, Dimitry joined Fintage House and is now responsible for the administration of the Talent department, which deals with the management of intellectual property rights of individuals working in the entertainment industry (music and sports business).

  • Ágnes Hollaubek

    Prior to Fintage, Ágnes studied the medical professional until 2001. During these academic years she worked as an Irish dance instructor in a Budapest-based dance school which became her full time position until 2004. After taking off the dancing shoes she joined Fintage House, working in the Licensing Department until 2010 after which she moved to the Collection Account Management Department. Outside office hours she’s likely to be found in a stadium supporting Hungarian athletes and following European football-games.

    Andrew graduated university with a Bachelor of Science degree (with honours) in Criminology. In 2002 he took up his first position in the banking sector working for HSBC (Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Cooperation) and after moving quickly up the ladder he wanted to attain international work experience and so accepted a position in the Bank of New York Mellon in the client investment portfolio department. In November 2009 Andrew followed his love of film and made the move into the financial side of the film industry by joining Fintage House as a Financial Account Manager. In a non-professional capacity, Andrew enjoys playing rugby for his local team.

    Anita majored in American studies at Eötvös Loránd University where she specialised in the political and cultural history of the 1950s and 1960s and became accustomed to the method of critical thinking. In 2007, she spent 4 months in the United States exploring the East and West Coast and upon her return she started to work for Grey, an international advertising agency. Anita joined Fintage House in March, 2011 and soon started to handle her own clients. Anita likes a challenge in and out of work so in her free-time she does urban skating.

While she works as an assistant in the Collection Account Management Department in the Budapest based office she is also studying finance and accounting. Outside of her love for numbers – Anna enjoys taking to the road for a run or relaxing with a good book!

    Ágnes is a law graduate from the University of Szeged in Hungary with a Master’s Degree in European Law from the University Jean Moulin Lyon III, France. After working for six months in a European Institution in Brussels, she joined Fintage in the Licensing department in the autumn of 2011. Her mother tongue is Hungarian and she also speaks fluently English and French. In her free time she enjoys playing the clarinet in different musical assemblies, going to concerts and travelling.

Anita joined the Fintage team in 2008 and works in the Neighbouring rights department and is responsible for Record Labels and coordination of sales for both artists and record labels. Anita is a real globetrotter and loves to explore Asia.

    Balázs graduated as an economist at the College for Modern Business Studies in Hungary. Based in the Budapest office, he began in the Finance department managing the day-to-day financial transactions, preparation of management reports and maintenance with the banks. In the meantime he completed his MBA studies at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. After some years, Balazs moved into the Collection Account Management department where he heads a group of Financial Account Managers. Outside of work Balázs is a big fan of Asian movies.

    Barbara graduated as an economist at the College of Trade, Tourism and Catering in Budapest and also received a diploma qualification as a Wellness Manager at International Wellness Institute. Prior to joining Fintage, Barbara worked at a management consulting company dealing with the selection of top and middle managers. In 2000 Barbara started working in the licensing department and was account manager within two years. After giving birth to two beautiful children, she returned to the audiovisual Rights department dealing with various societies and her own client base. In her spare time Barbara is quiet the runner having completed a marathon a few years ago.

    Barbara joined Fintage Magyar in 2001 as an assistant and is now working as a Relationship Manager dealing with international sales companies, producers and distributors from all around the world. Being a huge Woody Allen fan, she loves the industry she works in! Before Fintage, Barbara travelled to and worked in London and New York. Her native tongue is Hungarian but speaks English fluently. Barbara is quiet the yoga buff practicing the hatha version and attends regular workshops held by international yoga teachers.

    Blanka joined the CAM department of Fintage as a part time assistant in early 2008. During this time, she studied Communications and Media combined with a Dutch language and literature module at Eotvos Lorand Tudomanyegyetem, University Faculty of Arts. Completing her study in 2011, Blanka joined the full time workforce at Fintage as Information Manager. Blanka speaks Hungarian, Dutch, English and Russian and in her spare time she works for a charity as a volunteer where they help teenagers to improve their skills via logical games. Always up for a chat Blanka is a natural at networking and loves the social scene!

    Carola graduated with a Bachelors degree in European Studies and Public administration from The Hague University and went on to do an exchange programme in Brussels studying EHSAL business management courses. Politically active, Carola worked as a municipal councilor and researcher for ‘le CGD’ (advising council for the government) examining existing development programs for education and healthcare in Burkina Faso. Speaking four languages (French, German, English, Dutch), she also was a coordinator and trainer for the project team at Dual Masters and Eurocross International. Carola joined Fintage in 2010 and works in the International Licensing and Distribution Department. Her love of competitive games sees her on the tennis courts and taking part in all water sport activities. To relax Carola loves globetrotting!

    “I find that a duck’s opinion of me is very much influenced by whether or not I have bread” Her favourite saying – Charina is a born and bread Puerto Rican/American that graduated with a Bachelors in Science and Business Administration with a focus on International Business from UNCW in the US. She carried on with her studies to receive a Dual Masters in International Marketing from the University of Valencia in Spain and from Hochschule Bremen in Germany. With a strong love for music, in her spare time Charina is a singer/songwriter as well as a musical theatre enthusiast and has performed in several Broadway spin off productions.

    David graduated in Public Management from the University of Leiden in 2003. During his studies, he did a student exchange program in Italy for six months and after graduating spent another twelve in Mexico hence apart from Dutch and English, David speaks fluent Spanish and Italian. Before joining Fintage House as Relationship Manager in the Collection Account Management Department, David was active in the international debt recovery business. His role at Fintage involves drafting and negotiating agreements for films and television series and maintaining relationships with clients.

    Diane works at Fintage for over 10 years now. She started as an assistant to the CEO’s; arranging their day-to-day schedule ‘left, right and center’. Later Diane moved to the Music Publishing department where she thrived in licensing Fintage’s extensive music database for a variety of commercials and spots. Recently she made the switch to the Neighbouring Rights department, where she works as a Relationship Manager and dedicates her time to maximizing Fintage’s artists’ performance rights royalties. She is mother of two boys and in her spare time (what spare time?!) she can be mostly found on the tennis court.

    From Hungary, Emese worked for Fintage House in the Budapest office from 1995-2004 in the Licensing Department. She then went on to experience other areas within this field by joining Hollywood Classics, a London based sales company where she created and headed the Business Affairs Department. Emese returned to Fintage House in February 2011, this time in the Netherlands office and now works in the Collection Account Management Department. She has a degree in Italian language and literature along with a bachelors in Economics. Emese is a lover of languages, quite the cook in the kitchen and is interested in psychology.

    Eszter graduated from the oldest university of Hungary; the Eotvos Lorand where she studied organising cultural events specializing in domestic tourism. In addition to this she attended an open university course in History of Art and studied German and Hebrew. Eszter joined the Fintage team in 2005 and besides supporting her team she also works with her own clients within the Licensing Department. Two years ago Eszter started to refresh her knowledge of Hebrew while indulging in her interest of Hungarian Glass Art at the turn of the last century.

Outside of work he is also a music lover and an avid fan of outdoor sports like kite surfing.

He started his career as a professional translator and freelance journalist, and soon found himself in a project manager position at a publishing house. István joined Fintage in 2007 as a trainee and climbed the corporate ladder up to the account manager position. In the meantime, he started a Business Administration/Management program at Corvinus University of Budapest in 2008 which Financial Times ranks in the list of Top 50 Business Schools in Europe. In his spare time Istvan is a yoga and graphic novel fan!

Within this role, she now supports the day to day administration for the Royalty Department.

    A German teacher graduate, Judit also spent six months in Vienna on a college scholarship. Speaking fluent English and German, Judith joined the Licensing Department within Fintage House in 1999. She was responsible for drafting of film licensing agreements, as well as maintaining relationships with producers and distributors. In 2009, after giving birth to her son, she moved to the Audiovisual Rights department of Fintage and her main responsibilities are dealing with main collecting societies in conflict resolution besides handling her own clients.

    Born in Budapest, Leila spent her childhood years in Lebanon and her adolescent years in Syria. Growing up in a bi-cultural family, she speaks Arabic, Hungarian and English. Leila graduated from Damascus University majoring in English Literature while working in a travel agency. Leila moved back to Hungary and joined Fintage in 2007. Content with her work and life, every day presents a new challenge for her which she relishes! Always mixing it up Leila loves to attend metal concerts and draw graphics in her spare time.

    Magdi graduated with a Master’s Degree in International Relationships from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences (currently known as Corvinus University of Budapest), Hungary. She also has an Honours Bachelor´s Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from the Budapest Business School. In 2001 she joined the Licensing department of Fintage House in Hungary and after a year and a half she was presented with the opportunity to set up a team of financial account managers for the Collection Account Management Department there which she headed until Autumn 2007. Magdi then moved to Germany and became an independent consultant working for the CAM department.

    Marianna joined the Fintage Team in 2002 as a receptionist. Two years later she was already handling her own portfolio of clients from all over the world and now she is a team leader in the Licensing Department. Before Fintage, Marianna worked at GE Lighting’s Technical Library. In her younger years Marianna learnt the violin, was an active member in the local choir and participated in many international music festivals in Hungary, Israel and the Czech Republic. While her mother tongue is Hungarian, she is also fluent in English and a has a basic knowledge of Spanish.

    Before joining Fintage House, Márta attended Corvinus University in Budapest and graduated with a Masters Degree in International Affairs with a focus in Diplomacy. Márta joined Fintage House in 2005 as a Financial Account Manager in the Collection Account Management division. In 2011, she became Relationship Manager and is currently responsible for the negotiation and drafting of Collection Account Management agreements for international film projects and television series with a primary focus on the UK and New York markets. Quiet the linguist, she is fluent in English, Hungarian, and Russian.

    Martha, a Latin American native has been living in the Netherlands for 9 years now. She is a trilingual, speaking Spanish, English and Dutch and working with Fintage for the last three and half years means she now calls Holland her home. Martha works specifically in the CAM unit on a range of different Film & TV deals but assists a total of 18 people across all departments in the company. Never a dull moment with Martha, she keeps the momentum going with her favourite expressions – Ay, Ay, Ay – Chihuahua Jose and has a love for anything salsa related!

    Before Fintage, Marvin worked with MeesPierson in the HRM department dealing with integration projects for Fortis Bank, employee applications and contracts. Marvin moved to Fintage House in 2001 and currently works as a Financial Account Manager for the Film & TV department managing CAM agreements on a variety of film and TV deals. In the past Marvin was a defender in the Dutch amateur league but now plays capoeira, has a love for fine cuisine and is currently doing a bachelors degree in Dutch Law. Whoever said he was – all work and no play?!

    After graduating with a music degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, Nadja moved back to the Netherlands with her husband. An opportunity soon arose in Amsterdam to take a sneak peek behind the scenes of the music industry. The invaluable experience of working with some of the top international artists in the entertainment arena created a challenging platform that she grabbed with both hands! She works out her frustrations on the tennis courts but her number one passion still lies behind the piano. Who knows, maybe she’ll be hiring Fintage herself one day…

    After Péter finished his studies at Budapest College of Management in Foreign Relations, he joined Fintage House’s Music department in 2010. He began working on music copyright conflicts and then took over managing the sub-publishing agreement registrations at the collecting music societies. A real team player Péter believes in keeping an upbeat attitude about everything. Outside of work, he loves wine tasting with friends.

    With over 12 years experience specializing in international licensing and distribution of media rights, Peter has an extensive global network of contacts within the industry, with emphasis in Asia. As Co-Managing Director he jointly ran the Budapest office and it’s international licensing activities. In 2005 Peter became the head of Business Development within Fintage in The Netherlands and helmed international relationship management across the company’s film client base. Prior to joining Fintage House, Peter worked at MeesPierson Bank. Peter is responsible for Protocol International’s following activities: legal and business affairs, rights assessment and royalty collections, data and information businesses, and client relationship management.

    Peter graduated in Law & Public Administration at the University of Pecs in Hungary and also studied European Law in the Netherlands at the University of Tilburg. Prior to Fintage, he started his career at a traditional law firm in Hungary, where he specialized in corporate and commercial law. He joined the Fintage team in 2007 as a member of the company’s film Licensing Department, participating in the coordination of the company’s international licensing and distribution activities. In 2010, he moved to the Music department, taking over the company’s music licensing activities as well as becoming responsible for the company’s agreements in publishing, neighboring rights and secondary rights collections.

    Straight after graduation, Petra moved to the US and lived in Arizona, California and Mexico. After her intense travelling she returned to Hungary in 1998 and worked as a designer assistant. In 2000, she joined the Fintage House team and began working in the Licensing Department on filing and then shortly after began working with the Finance Department. After having two kids, Petra moved to the Music Department in 2003 and worked on music and audiovisual registrations with various societies, supported the Royalty Department in Leiden and the Neighboring Rights Department with preparing registration forms and discographies. From 2010, Petra works full time in the Neighbouring Rights sector.

    Before co-founding Protocol, Rebecca started her career in Film at Ealing Studios in the UK as Production Business Affairs working on such projects as ‘St. Trinians’, ‘I Want Candy’ and ‘Alien Autopsy’, before being asked to join investment fund Aramid Capital as Projects Manager for their single picture transactions such as ‘W.’, ‘Incendiary’ and ‘In The Loop’. Protocol is very much a team environment, and within her role at Protocol Rebecca is responsible for marketing, business development, portfolio analysis, assessment of residual value of film assets and means of exploitation. Rebecca’s never short of lively conversation, and to top it off also performs as lead singer of film industry band ‘The AfterParty’.

    Roland studied Facility Management at Saxion Hogescholen and received his Bachelors degree in 1994. He entered the music business arena by working as store manager for the Free Record Shop. Previous to Fintage, Roland worked for eight years at the Dutch author’s rights society Buma/Stemra where he was Account Manager for the music publishers and authors. Roland joined Fintage’s Music Department as an Account Manager in 2007 and he is now responsible for Royalty & Copyright data as their Copyright & Royalty Analyst.

    In 2007 Rose relocated to Greenock, Scotland to work for Dun & Bradstreet as a customer representative dealing with credit, marketing and supply chain management. Rose was also an Online Assistant dealing with business queries in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce. Through her love for writing and music she found her way to Fintage in 2010, worked as an Assistant Account Manager in the Music Publishing Department and then became Royalty Administrator in the Royalty Department. Outside of work Rose loves to travel, write poems and surround herself with all things musical from attending concerts to learning to play the guitar!

    Prior to Fintage, Sandra worked as Royalty Manager for Hit & Run Publishing for ten years where she had a varied portfolio of clients. She then took some time out to see the world and went globetrotting around Asia, New Zealand and Australia. Sandra then went on to work for Chrysalis in book royalties and for Jetix in merchandise royalties. She joined the Fintage House Music team thereafter as Royalty Manager bringing with her over 20 years of experience.

    Prior to Fintage House, Sandra has a passion for fashion and is a graduate of the discipline from Utrecht College. Wanting to explore all areas of running a business Sandra next turned her hand to accounting and managed the accounts of her parents baking company. Finding her feet with this, she joined the Collection Account Management department of Fintage House in 2007 as financial account manager and is responsible for various projects for film and TV production clients. In her spare time she loves to take to the road on a cycle trail.

    Szilvia graduated as an economist at the Corvinus University of Budapest and then went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in ‘Expert Management and Leadership’, beside her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management. She has joined Fintage in 1997 and was responsible for the negotiation and drafting of film licensing agreements, as well as maintaining relationships with clients, and also attending the major film markets in Europe. In 2011 Szilvia has moved to Fintage Music and is dealing with the main publishing companies and music societies in conflict resolution. Szilvia was a competitive gymnast, and to carry on such a lifestyle she got a professional trainer degree at International Wellness Institute. In addition she specialized in kids training as well and loves to deal with both adults and kids.

    Willemijn graduated with a Masters Degree in Contract Law at Leiden University and studied IP Law, Competition Law, Copyright Law and Media Law in Berlin as part of an exchange program. Prior to Fintage, she did an internship with RTL – Europe’s second-largest TV, radio, and production company. Within her role at Fintage she negotiates and drafts Collection Account Management agreements for film projects and television series and maintains relationships with clients with her main focus being the; German, South African and the UK market. Willemijn is a trilingual speaking English, Dutch and German, is a skiing fanatic and loves art house movies and Irish Coffee.**

    Prior to Fintage, Zsuzsanna worked for the Hungarian branch of an Austrian bank and leasing company as a risk analyst assistant and dealt with corporate clients. In 2007, she joined the Collection Account Management Department in Fintage House and as she has a huge interest in films she was sure that working here would fit in with her personality better. She is currently a correspondence student of the College of Finance and Accountancy of BBS. In addition to speaking English, Zsuzsanna speaks German and is learning Spanish. As well as being a fan of movies, Zsuzsanna loves the music scene attending concerts whenever she can.

    Zita joined Fintage House in 2003 in the International Licensing and Distribution Department. After giving birth to a beautiful daughter, she joined Protocol International, seeking new experiences. Zita now manages client relationships and is handling the world-wide Royalty Reporting and Collection of Overages for our clients. Zita also takes part in application management within the company, to maximize the benefit of IT and to provide an optimal Rights-Management service to producers, sales agents and financiers.

    Péter studied economics at the College of Modern Business Studies in Hungary and after graduating he worked in the vehicle industry for a short period before joining the Fintage Group. Currently he is responsible for the daily financial operations for specialized independent subsidiaries within Fintage House. In his free time Péter is involved with a charity organization promoting European Voluntarism.
